Awards season is upon us again, which means it’s time to announce the winners of our annual CUGCY Awards! 2018 was quite a busy year for CUGC, as we saw big growth in our local group meetings, XL events, blogs, forum discussions and webinars.
This year brings a new CUGCY award category: The CUGC Community Member of the Year. We created this award to honor the memory of Community Manager Stephanie Roper, who passed away unexpectedly in January. Stephanie was an energetic and steadfast champion of CUGC, and in future years, this award will be bestowed on those members who embody that same spirit of community.
CUGC would not be the thriving community it is today without each and every one of you who attend our webinars, show up to local meetings, speak and present virtually or in person, and visit our forums to give or seek advice. For all of your involvement, big or small, we thank you! Because of you, our community continues to grow stronger in every way.
And starting this year, winners will earn a unique 2018 CUGCY Award Achievement to proudly display on their myCUGC.org profile:
Now, it’s time to shine a spotlight on those local groups and community members who went above and beyond last year.
