Last month we shared the exciting news about the upcoming launch of an all-new myCUGC.org. After more than a year of planning and months of work, we’re happy to announce the new site will go live on Monday, December 10! We can’t wait for everyone to check out the fresh look and additional features.
As we near the final transition, here are a few details on what to expect:
- Migration: Access to the current myCUGC.org will be limited from December 7 – December 9. This is when we’ll be doing the final migration of data from the old platform to the new platform. The majority of the site will operate in a “read only” mode during this time. All of your profile, community, and activity information will sync across to the new site.
- Events: Registration for open local group events and webinars should remain active throughout the transition. URLs to local group event pages might change, so check the homepage for updated links.
- Email: When the new platform goes live, you’ll need to reset your password to access the new site. The password reset link will be sent to the login email address associated with your account. Prior to December 6, please update the “Private Email” section on your profile to make sure your current profile has an up-to-date login email address! To do this, login to myCUGC.org and go to the top right of the page. Select “My Options” then “My Profile.” Click the “Edit Profile” button – it looks like a pencil and a pad of paper. This button will appear on the left in a desktop browser or at the top on mobile. Update “Private Email” to the email address you’d like to use for CUGC. Click “OK” at the bottom of the page when done.
- Questions/Issues: As always, if you have any questions or issues before or after the transition, please contact CUGC HQ at hq@mycugc.org.
Follow us on Twitter and on LinkedIn to stay up-to-date on the most recent information about the new website. If there’s any breaking news, we’ll post it there first!
Thank you to all of our members as we start this exciting new chapter for CUGC!
