by Brian Dunlavy, Houston CUGC Leader
Houston CUGC was proud to host the 400th CUGC meeting on September 13, 2018 at Karbach Brewery.

Houston CUGC leaders Jason Samuel, Brian Dunlavy and Randy Alderman were present to welcome everyone and cover local CUGC information before lunch was served. Leader Sean Roland arrived after battling Houston traffic, and unfortunately, leader Richard Maresca was unable to attend.
Once everyone settled in with food, expert guest speaker Ron Oglesby discussed part 1 of App Layering best practices.

Our event sponsor, Ivanti, was up next and John Hare was in town from Denver to discuss Ivanti’s products.

After John wrapped up, Ron followed with part 2 of App Layering Best Practices.

We finished the event with the raffle prizes, which included a Yeti cooler, two Yeti tumblers, an Ivanti t-shirt and a $100 Amazon gift card. Winners:
- Stanley Lester – Amazon gift card
- Michael Martinez – Yeti cooler
- Andrew Moll – Yeti tumbler
- Nellie Coronado – Yeti tumbler
At the conclusion, several gathered at the Karbach biergarten to keep the discussion going! Thanks to everyone who attended and to those who continue to keep the Houston CUGC meetings strong!
