The upcoming Citrix Synergy event in Orlando will be the third Synergy in a row that I will have attended. As in previous years, I’m looking forward to hitting some deep dive technical sessions, specifically on the networking path.
(Tip: If you’re into technical NetScaler content, from previous experience I would recommend any session with Abhilash Verma presenting.)
I’m also looking forward to checking out some sessions outside the network track on topics like Authentication, App Layering, WEM, and new XenDesktop features. With all the recent acquisitions by Citrix and posturing with Microsoft, I suspect that there will be some interesting announcements made this year as well.
One big difference for me at this year’s Synergy is that I will have the opportunity to lead three Hot Topic Roundtable sessions:
Tuesday – Security – SYN202 4:45 – 5:45 PM
Wednesday – Security – SYN203 2:45 – 3:45 PM
Thursday – Mobility – SYN205 1:30 – 2:30 PM
One of the things I like the most about Synergy is how many opportunities it provides to connect with other professionals and see what they’re interested in, working on, and working towards. It’s always interesting to hear what challenges industry peers face and how they address them. I’m looking forward to having a forum to facilitate more of those conversations this year and hope you will join me at the Hot Topic Round Table Sessions at Synergy 2017!
