When geeks, nerds, and engineers come together, a phenomenal technical event occurs. Our first ever CUGC XL event was hosted in St. Joseph, Missouri which had a total attendance of 175 members of which 125 were end users. Our Kansas City local group community led by Jarian Gibson and William Vetter along with our Omaha local group community led by Scott Osborne, Ryan Revord, Steve Elgan, Ben Tusa and Jason Tedrick came together along with Citrites and product experts to share relevant real world experiences and technical content for a full day of learning. All attendees gained over 20+ years of Citrix Technical expertise through the knowledge transfer of the elite speakers at this event.
The Agenda included
- Kees Baggerman with Citrix Provisioning Services and MCS
- Daniel Feller with XenApp/XenDesktop Product Update
- Jason Helms with Scaling Citrix
- Jason Samuel with Netscaler + ADFS + Azure + MFA + FAS
- Ron Oglesby with Citrix App Layering
- Hal Lange with WEM and Transformer

We wrapped the event up with an awesome panel of Citrix Experts for open Q&A. No topic was left unturned. The attendees all had positive feedback as we received an NPS score of 83 from the participants. This is community and customer advocacy in action.
We can’t thank our sponsors, local leaders, and Steering Committee staff enough for their help in making this event so successful.

We are looking forward to planning our next CUGC XL event, stay tuned for more information.
